My name is Dasha and I am a trauma informed hypno-psychotherapeutic counsellor and a CNHC registered clinical hypnotherapist with additional psychotherapeutic training, practising in accordance with UKCP Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.
This space is all about you, but therapy can be a very vulnerable space, involving sharing some very personal truths, and I want to introduce myself and give you some context that you may find useful. My own professional journey started in a therapist's chair, as a client, years ago.

You may be going through a time when life feels overwhelming — when anxiety, sadness, or relationship struggles leave you feeling isolated, stuck, or like you just can’t seem to “get things right.” Perhaps you blame yourself for your reactions, doubt your confidence, or carry a quiet belief that something is deeply wrong with you.

You are not alone — and you don’t have to go through this on your own.

Many of my clients come to me during moments of deep personal crisis: feeling lost, disconnected, struggling with depression, anxiety, or navigating painful relationship dynamics. Often, they’re high-functioning on the outside, but inside, they feel stuck, unseen, or emotionally exhausted.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this work, it’s that even when change feels impossible — it is possible. You may not see the path yet, but healing and growth are always within reach. My role is to walk that path with you, helping you reconnect to your inner resources, process what feels overwhelming, and find a renewed sense of direction and self-trust.

My Personal Journey
I understand these struggles not only as a therapist but as a human being. I’m a first-generation immigrant, and therapy played a vital role in helping me navigate my own emotional crises — from anxiety and attachment wounds to rebuilding my sense of self-worth.
In my own journey, I:

Recovered from emotional eating and lost over 60 pounds — without dieting or restriction

Quit smoking after a decade of heavy use

Built a more assertive, grounded relationship with myself
My first career was in strategy consulting and banking, where I held senior leadership roles and coached others in high-pressure environments. I’m deeply familiar with the demands, stress, and emotional toll that high-achieving, high-responsibility roles can carry.

I ride horses, I love horse riding and one day I want to open a retreat / wellness centre where people will be able to experience the magic of horses
I dance tango
Mountains is my place of strength
I consume an insane amount of very dark (90%) chocolate
Adjarian Khachapuri is one of my favourite foods, yum (it comes from Georgia)
My first job was at McDonald's
I love cooking for people, I can spend about 4 hours cooking a meal for someone

my qualifications
I am a hypno-psychotherapeutic counsellor and a qualified clinical hypnotherapist with additional psychotherapeutic training, registered with the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
These qualifications allow me to integrate a variety of methods depending on what works for each individual client, in or out of formal trance - from hypnotherapy, to gestalt, solution focused work, CBT or psychoanalytic elements, all using a person centered approach where a person and your needs are put in a center.
